Insurers Administrative Corporation (IAC) - Large statewide provider network through MedCost. Very competitive in the Consumer Driven Health Market (Health Savings Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts). Offers employee choice in the small group market. Employer selects up to three plans - traditional copay plans or Health Savings Accounts plans and the employee chooses the plan that best fits his budget and medical needs. Integrated savings account with Bancorp through American Health Value for High Deductible Health Plans (HSA's).

United Healthcare - Strong network and competitve rates. Offers integrated Health Reimbursement Accounts to any size group. Large selection of PPO, HMO and Health Savings Accounts Plan. Integrated savings account with Exante Bank for High Deductible Health Plans (HSA's).

Wellpath- Offers competitive POS, HMO and Health Savings Account plans. Strong networks in the Triangle, Charlotte and Fayetteville areas. Offers dual choice plans to groups with 10 or more employees

 

Dual Option Plans

HRA's, HSA's or a combination of both coupled with a traditional copay plan may be the solution to lower health insurance premiums. Sixty-three percent of employers expect to offer Consumer Driven Health Plans in the next two years to lower premiums 20-40%.
